The site is an amazing blog that pulls from so many different sources. I find myself checking it out almost every day and certainly every week.

Introductions

The pressure's on! First blog post ever and I'm terrified by this first impression like on anybody's first date when things are awkward and nervous pauses between ideas are the source of ulcers in our stomach. Now, I must say that communication is definitely not my strength, if it is anyone's at all - ahem… With all the means and mediums of saying something, what is said, how its told, by whom, why, etc. etc. We're just complicated beings with so many ways to interact with each other and the world around us. The many venues in which to communicate makes things even more interesting, I guess (not the best word to describe its extensive complexity), and the self proclamation through blogs, like this one, and facebook, myspace, and other sites of sorts has changed the world. I'm not shining new lights here to say the least, but I'm intrigued by how our human interactions have changed due to the constant fast flow, creation, transfer, and consumption of information. I think of evolution and how species have come and gone and some changed into others, but its not only physical or biological, its behavioral, psychological, and spiritual, philosophical - how we used to think ages ago and how we do now.

Now that I've blabbered on and on… I'm reminded of how much I liked a movie called "Waking Life" and it kind of supports or inspires what I mean.
